The 4th Nobel Laureates Symposium on Global Sustainability was planned in Hong Kong from 22nd to 25th April, 2015, organized by The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and The Asia Society Hong Kong Center (ASHK), providing a high-level platform for debate right in the heart of a region that is key to achieving a transformation towards a low-carbon global economy.

The Symposium  "4C: Changing Climate, Changing Cities" considered crucial questions of how to address urbanization in Asia in this century of mega cities and climate change, which will, if unabated, result in a 4 degrees Celsius rise in temperature. In short: How to foresee 4C?
